Frequently asked questions:

  1. Q. When a user swipes out of schedule, why doesn't the choice list doesn't include all of that employee's job codes?
    or
    Q. When I'm working with building a schedule, why doesnt the popup of job codes doesn't include one of their available job codes?

    A. The list of available job codes is maintained by your human resources or payroll department. Check with one of those departments to make sure that job code changes are being entered into the system.

  2. Q. Why am I not seeing a new employee?

    A. New employees are added by your human resources department. Check with that department to insure that the new employees are being added.

  3. Q. I'm printing new badges labels. Where do I place the bar code label on the badge?

    A. Place the label such that the bar codes appear at the spot 1/2" from the edge of the badge. You can place the label such that it touches the edge of the badge, just as long as the bars happen to exist at the 1/2" point from the edge of the card. Place the label such that is is running along the long side of the badge.

  4. Q. Is the timeclock time accurate? Some employees said it wasn't.

    A. The timeclock synchronizes the computer's clock with the atomic standard twice per day. It is possible that you have a machine that drifts several seconds each day. If this is noticeable, ask your technical support contact to set the atomic time connection to be more frequent. There is also the unlikely possibility that the atomic time provider in Boulder, Colorado is down for technical reasons. If this happens, your technical support staff can set the time manually, should it drift.
